Artross GmbH

Artoss GmbH has been developing and producing biomaterials for bone regeneration using NanoBone® technology since 2003. The materials are designed to follow the natural processes occurring in the human body. Research, which began ten years ago at the University of Rostock remains the focus of the company's corporate philosophy. University collaboration is still extremely important to us and we are currently working with over 20 universities.

At the company headquarters in Rostock-Warnemünde, the NanoBone® team develops and produces biomaterials which are sold around the world.

Artoss is constantly working with users to develop further indication-specific products to facilitate everyday dental and surgical practice.

Bone regeneration materials have become an essential part of everyday dental surgery. Bone reconstruction is required for every second to third implant made today.

ARTOSS GmbH develops and produces biomaterials for bone regeneration based on NanoBone® technology.  NanoBone® is a synthetic bone substitute/bone reconstruction material. The secret of its success is its efficient nanostructure: Nanocrystalline hydroxylapatite (HA) is embedded in a highly porous silica gel matrix.
Bone regeneration materials are used with increasing frequency in the fields of endoprosthetics, spinal surgery and traumatology. ARTOSS GmbH has been developing and producing biomaterials for bone regeneration based on NanoBone® technology for over five years.
