ANNOUNCEMENT
The West Pomeranian Advisory Group Sp. Z oo and the Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer at West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin invite to participation in the conference summarizing the project "Academic Entrepreneurship - the future of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship", which will be held on 14th December 2012 at 10.30 am – 01.30 pm in Radisson Blu Hotel in Szczecin.
During the conference the project assumpions will be discussed and project participants will present their innovative business plans. The second part of the conference will be the award ceremony for the fifth edition of organized by Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer the best thesis contest.The meeting will end with a panel discussion on the opportunities and prospects for the implementation of research results.

ScanBalt Forum 2012, 20.-23. November 2012, Tampere, Finland
This year on 20-23 November, the Life Science community on Top of Europe gathered in Tampere, to exchange ideas and discuss the current state and future prospects of ScanBalt BioRegion. Key topics and project sessions of the Forum were be the following:
The Eco4Life project contributed to the Forum by a common workshop on “cross-sectoral cooperation for hospital innovation” with reports on “Sustainable healthcare cluster in South Sweden” and "Completion of the sustainable Master plan for the University hospital Rostock" from the Baltic Green HealthCare Cluster.

Signing of Letter of Intend with EEN Steinbeiss Team NorthEast and Lithuanian Diabetes Association
In November 2012, the Eco4Life project signed A Letter of Intend with the partner networks of -Lithuanian Diabetes Association
The members of the organizations/networks will undertake concerted efforts for the purpose of establishing a long-term mutually beneficial collaboration in field of diabetes and technology transfer LifeScience and Green Valley. Find more information on www.eco4life.info/network-partners.html
Training module „Internal Auditor of Enviromental System”, 26-27.11.2012 Szczecin, Poland
The project partner 2 in the Eco4Life project organized a reedition of a two days training module on 26th and 27th November. The training was entitled “Internal Auditor of Environmental Management System” and was dedicated to employees of health care service and people responsible for enviromantal protecyion. TThe training lasted two days, eight hours per day (16 hours) and the company responsible for conducting it was Incert LtD.
Project partner 2 decided to organize the reedition of the traing, which was firstly held on 17th -18th September due to large interest in this topic and requests from health care employees.
The aim of the training was to familiarize participants with the requirements of ISO 14001. ISO 14001 is environmental management standard which specifies a set of environmental management requirements for environmental management systems. The purpose of this standard is to help all types of organizations to protect the environment, to prevent pollution, and to improve their environmental performance. During the course requirements of ISO 14001 and methods of its interpretation were discussed in details. Particular attention was payed to areas of outstanding environmental management system in relation to other management systems, ie, the identification of environmental aspects, setting objectives and targets, environmental program management and implementation of effective controls and to ensure preparedness and response in case of emergency. Participants were also told how to organize and conduct internal audit. At the end of the training module participants who past the test, gained a certificate of Internal Auditor of Environmental Management System. The content of the training module can be found on
